They are always so funny sweet carrying and authentic. Anyone I bring loves the food and wants to go back. Food is made with love wish I could give them 10 stars.
Pizza was full of flavor, and the tomato sauce was generous. They made accommodations for me when I asked to make the garlicky chicken pizza with marinara sauce. They gave me extra buffalo sauce for the wings in a cup. Overall great place to get some good pizza.
Me and My daughter took a lunch break together, and found out this place has vegan pizza! The pizza was delicious, the cheese melts good and has a nice taste, we got veggies on top with pineapples it was yummy. The service was great! We’re definitely coming back and becoming a regular.

Straw Hat Pizza was formed July 10, 1959, by Charlie Olsen and Bill Henderlong. They had been working in the industry at the time and felt they could provide a better-tasting product and family-friendly environment. The first Straw Hat opened in 1960 in San Leandro, CA.
They picked the name because of the types of uniforms worn by many pizzerias in California at the time. This way, customers would quickly identify with and understand the type of product they sold.
